Why do I need to provide identity documents during Signup?
Prime Sports is constantly aiming to improve our systems so that all signups can be verified automatically, however sometimes that's not possible. Providing copies of valid official identity documents allows us to manually verify you while staying compliant with your state's requirements.
What documents do you accept?
Common examples of identity information are Passports, State issued identity or driving licenses.
For address verification; utility bills, bank statements or any other official document within the last 90 days can be accepted. Please note that where a form of identification has both ID and address on, we unfortunately cannot accept the same document for both proofs so a secondary document must be provided.
Unopened Mail or parcels cannot be accepted as a valid form of address.
Do I need to provide physical copies of my documents?
Physical copies are not required. Prime Sports allows uploading of photographs / scans of your documents in .jpg or .png formats.
What happens to copies of my documents I've provided?
All documents are stored in a secure document vault while your account is going through verification. Once that is complete the documents are handled in accordance with state compliance rules.
